Katzelkraft - Footprints

Hi everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day :)) - ATC-coin fever's caught me again!

While Sherlock Holmes is investigating, the prisoner escapes... 

I'm an absolute fan of the Pabos and I think they fit the little story told by this ATC series like a glove!

As with the last ATC coin, 

I didn't want to cut off the protruding parts because I think it gives the coins a unique look.

...I also like it better when they don't look so strictly framed. - We wouldn't be artists if we didn't break the rules from time to time - would we! Ha ha ha

He's a Pabos Aviator, but it looks more like he escaped the Sherlock Holmes set - lol

Sherlock Holmes is investigating! He doesn't know yet if these footprints will lead to a result.

...but

while Sherlock Holmes is investigating the thief, the prisoner makes off!!

As you can see, each of the three coins has the brick wall in common. That was my guide, so to speak.

I stenciled it with Fired Brick (Distress Oxide). The joints, as well as the papos, were colored with alcohol ink markers.

The backgrounds are from the leftover box. I stamped them with branches and leaves, the prisoner's was splattered with white ink.

I brushed the ground with Tranquil Tide (Stampin'Up), stamped on some grass 

and finally added the heat embossed quotes/sentiments.

Floral Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create! 

The theme is Anything Goes w/ optional twist Floral delight.

(create something featuring flowers)

The vase with the flowers 

is a stamp from set #451 (AALL&Create) that I won last year at Allsorts Challenge. - I used it for the first time today!

Quite a big stamp. - It fills an A6 card, but without being obtrusive.

I stamped the image and stenciled around it. Colored it with aqua markers, then added stronger accents with alcohol ink markers. Stamped some numbers and writings on the right edge. (AALL&Create as well) 

Added splatters with black ink. Stamped the sentiment. 

Finally, I cut the card to size and adhered it to a blank card.

Katzelkraft - Thankful

Hi everyone!

Time for a new Katzelkraft card! - and do you know what?  ...there are flowers on it again! :))

With this card I would also like to remind you of our current Dream Factory Challenge 

with the theme

Magnolia - Flowers and Mother's Day.

Lots of flowers on this card! I used the whole set except for one stamp.

I stamped the quote in the center, then stamped all the flowers around it. I colored them with alcohol ink markers and then used background stamps to add green ink splotches and a bit of texture between the flowers. 

There's one flower that I've paper pieced, because I didn't get the right result by coloring. Let's see if you can find it!

Happy Easter - Mini MOO Cards

Hi everyone!

No design team work today. - Just for fun!

Here is what I came up with.

These cute bunny girls are from the wrapping paper of mini chocolate bars. 

I recently rediscovered them while rummaging through my treasures. ... just goes to show that everything has its purpose at some point - right?

Before I cut them out, I pasted them onto thicker paper to make them easier to handle.

The stamps in the background are from Craft Sensations, the sentiment is from Stampin'Up. The papers used are from the small scraps box. Here they are stenciled scraps (the brick wall) and a piece of Yupo with alcohol inks on it.

This one got the same brick wall in addition with two small scraps of homemade background paper behind it. 

I added a little lace to the bottom of each bunny's dress. Jazzed up some parts with alcohol ink markers and traced the outlines with a black fine liner. I then pasted everything onto the mini cards, drew paws on each bunny and then added a little green ink to suggest grass. Hope you like them.

Note:

If you're looking for measurements of the MOO MiniCards, 

they're a slimline 1.1” x 2.75”. That's 70 x 28mm in the metric thing. 

...and that's very challenging!! ;)

Katzelkraft - You Are Amazing

Hi everyone!

Time for a new Katzelkraft card! ...with flowers again :))

I don't think I've ever made as many cards with flowers as I have in the last few days. :)

For the background, I used fossilized amber (Distress Oxide) and the negative of an AALL&Create letter stencil. - I also added splashes of Lemon Lime Green (Stampin'Up).

Next, I stamped the flowers and butterfly and spritzed some black ink on the card.

I stamped the flowers again on Bristol paper and the butterfly on paper that had already been colored. 

I colored the flowers with Alcohol ink markers, then cut them out - as well as the butterfly. 

I then stamped the sentiment and cut it out. Glued everything in place and added yellow liquid pearls to the flower pistils. I also coated the butterfly's wings with Wink of Stella wich is unfortunatly not visible on the photo.

Finally, I cut the card to size, colored the edges with blue ink and glued it onto a blank card.
